WILD-WOOD

 

The Wild-Wood is a large interactive art installation commissioned for Winter-Wild in Apollo Bay 2017.

The installation included hundreds of wooden leaves, on each leaf the festival goers would release themselves of a wish, message to the lost, a curse or a secret (depending on the animal totem on the leaf). Over the six week festival the Wild-Wood grew thick with leaves and in a parade to the ocean on the final day the tree was set aflame and the wishes, secrets, curses and messages took flight and began their journey to the lost.
